A Very Warm Welcome to Tri-Force Juniors from the Club Captains & Vice Captains

When I came to my first training session with Tri-Force Juniors, I knew nothing about triathlon or what I was signing myself up for. I came along hoping to find somewhere to improve my cycling. Six years later, here I am with much more than quicker bike times. Joining Tri-Force has brought a number of great experiences, from the friendships and the improvements I have made across the three disciplines. Coming to Tri-Force has given me the confidence to join clubs for the individual sports, and I even joined a running club, something that I never thought I would do. This year is my final year of Junior Triathlons. It’s hard to believe how far I have come from my first race and I enjoy helping other new members learn about the sport. Although the club has changed in many ways since I began, it remains the friendly place I joined. The training sessions provide training for a range of abilities while covering all areas of triathlon, including transition. So, whatever your ability, come along to a training session and see what it is all about.

I joined Tri-Force Juniors over five years ago. With a welcoming atmosphere, it was easy to settle in. The coaches and parents are very friendly and there are many competitions to participate in. Training is a fun and challenging experience for all. Throughout my years at Tri-Force I have significantly progressed as a triathlete. My technique and overall fitness have noticeably improved. There are numerous friendly club triathlons organised every year and they are a perfect way to build your confidence, rather than rushing into your first open triathlon. With my experience built up throughout these years with Tri-Force I am now looking to participate in adult sprint distance triathlons in the near future. Triathlon is a great sport with athletes supporting each other to achieve their goals.
