Training this week will be mountain bike riding and running on Nomansland Common (Heartwood Forest) between Sandridge and Wheathampstead.
Meet at 13.45, set off at 14:00 and return approximately 15:30. The squad will be split into 2 based on age and experience to allow stronger riders to cycle faster and further.
Meeting point is the car park situated off the B651, the main road that runs from Sandridge to Wheathampstead. The nearest postcode is AL4 9DQ and there is a brown tourist (Heartwood Forest) sign pointing into the car park from the main road.
Please ensure all bikes are fully serviced and in full working order.
Don’t forget water bottle, helmet, appropriate shoes for cycling and running, warm wind and showerproof clothes, gloves.
Parents remember something for the boot of the car as bikes are likely to come back muddy.
Cost is £2 for 2016/17 subscribed members and £4 for non club members payable on the day.
Any parents who are able to help by cycling with the groups would be greatly appreciated by the coaches.
